Constraint, response, outcome

Legal — 8,400 sq ft

Meridian Law Group

The constraint: 40 attorneys sharing one floor with no acoustic separation. We restructured the circulation spine and introduced focused-work alcoves without adding walls.

Outcome: measured noise complaint rate dropped by two-thirds in the first quarter post-handover.

Technology — 5,200 sq ft

Harrow & Kline Software

The constraint: a 1960s floor plate with a structural grid misaligned to any modern workstation module. We mapped team movement patterns before touching the plan.

Outcome: collaborative zone utilisation increased; the engineering team reported fewer interruptions during concentration blocks.

Finance — 11,000 sq ft

Calloway Capital Advisors

The constraint: client-facing rooms and back-office operations on the same floor with conflicting privacy requirements. Circulation was redesigned before a single partition was specified.

Outcome: client-side and operations traffic fully separated; handover delivered on the contracted date.
